October is Rosary Month

St. John's Council of Catholic Women will host the annual Living Rosary on Monday, October 18 at 7:00pm in the church.  In addition to the Rosary a special blessing will be given to all expectant mothers, which is most    appropriate because October is Respect Life Month.    Volunteers are needed to participate in the Rosary.  Please gather in the narthex by 6:40pm.  If you would like to participate please call Lois Hoium, (651) 633-6086.    Everyone is invited to attend.  Layette items will be     collected for Birthright.  A basket will be at the baptismal font for your donations. Following the Rosary there will be a short CCW business meeting in the cafeteria.

Thank you!
To the parishioners who attended my last Word/Communion service on the 29th, and the reception after, many thanks for your kind words, your prayers and remembrances.  To all St. John's      parishioners & staff, my thanks to each of you also for helping me to grow in my ministry and for your support over the past three years.  The wonderful experiences and the memories of all the beautiful people I've met will stay with me for many years to come.  Both Maxine and I will miss you.                            Love and prayers always,
                            Deacon Joe McPherson
