CANCER SUPPORT You are invited to come be with our spiritually based cancer support group. We meet the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 2:00--3:30 p.m. at the parish center. ATTENTION SILVERTONES! CASINO TRIP Monday, November 6 to St. Croix. Only 3 weeks left to sign up for our next casino trip! Flyers on are on the bulletin board in the back of church, and in office. Because of the delay in getting flyers out, the deadline is cancelled. We want to use the proceeds of the casino trips to fund the "Unborn Baby Monument" for the new St. John Centre. FANNIE HILL CHRISTMAS SHOW TRIP The Silvertones are sponsoring a bus tour to the Fannie Hill Dinner Theatre in Eau Claire, WI for dinner and a matinee performance of their Christmas special show. The tour will be on Wednesday, November 29. We will St. John's at 10am and return by 6 p.m. Cost $42. Flyers are available at the back of church or the parish office. Deadline for registration is October 27. For more information call the parish office.
Family Fun Night
The Married Couple group is having a Family Fun Night on Saturday, November 11. We will be at the New Brighton Family Service Center from 5:30--8:30 p.m. Supper will be pizza, beverage and snacks. Each family is asked to bring something to share and a donation to help defray the cost of the pizza and admission to the Eagles Nest and gym. (The cost of wrist bands at $3.00) Come and have a great evening of fun for the entire family. A-F please bring a bag of carrots, raw vegetable or a dip G-P please bring a bag of chips or cookies Q-Z please bring a beverage (two 2-liter bottles of soda, juice or cider).
