BIRTHRIGHT

Want a part-time job that doesn't pay a dime but the        rewards are many?  This job doesn't provide insurance but does offer tax deductions for mileage.  This position allows you to love every client in a nonjudgmental way, and    educate and support women in making alternative choices to abortion. Time commitment is 2 hrs. 1-2 times per  month.   If interested in this great opportunity contact Julie Scott @ Birthright of Coon  Rapids 651- 766-8670. Volunteer training will be held Sat. Nov.11th (9:00am. - 3:30pm.) and Sun. Nov.12th (12:00pm - 3:30pm).  You don't have to be a professional to do this.

EVENING QUILTER'S GROUP
All interested people are invited to join this group.  No previous experience is necessary, only a willingness to meet and make new friends while helping create quilts for babies, children and families in need.  It is helpful, however, if you can sew a straight 1/4 inch seam.  We meet again on Tuesday, October 24, 2000 at 7:00 in the parish center basement.  Bring a sewing machine, if possible and a smile.  See you there!

THANK YOU!
Thank you to Fr. Bill for his prayers & his support, Ann Chupita & Jay for the beautiful music & to Loretta and the funeral luncheon committee.  God bless you all!

From the American Bishops' Statement:
"Living the Gospel of Life"  Nov. 1998

"We urge those Catholic officials who choose to depart from the Church teaching on the inviolability of human life in their public life to consider the consequences for their own spiritual well-being, as well as the scandal they risk by leading others into serious sin."
