GIVE THANKS BY HELPING OTHERS We have received notice that the Ralph Reeder Food Shelf is in serious need if replenishment. If you would like to give thanks in a special way to help your own neighbors this is an easy opportunity. They offer a list of particular food items badly needed: cereal, canned fruit, spaghetti sauce, chili, stew, chicken noodle soup, sugar, flour, cooking oil, misc. drinks, i.e., juice, coffee, tea, Kool-aid, dry potatoes, stuffing, pudding. (Note: pie filling is not commonly used at food shelves). Non food items also needed include toilet tissue, facial tissues, laundry and dishwashing detergents, diapers, toothpaste and tooth brushes. You may either bring your contributions to church and place them at the food shelf collection boxes or deliver them directly to the food shelf located at the Ralph Reeder Center located across the street (west) from the New Brighton Community Center. This is an opportunity to help our neighbors while saying thanks for our own bounty.
