Faith Formation…
NO CLASSES
There are NO Faith Formation Classes for grades 1-6 on January 2/3 or 9/10.  Classes resume January 16/17.

CATECHETICAL GATHERING

SEEKERS:  ADULT THEOLOGICAL BOOK CLUB
HEAR YE! HEAR YE!  CANCELLATION! Youth Newz…
AFTON ALPS
Monday, January 15
10:00 a.m.--7:00 p.m.
DEADLINE:  January 8
Cost:  $22/person (includes transportation & lift ticket)
Open to all 7-12th graders!
Join the youth group for skiing or snowboarding ALL DAY!  (And it's a Monday too!).  You will get a chance to ski in the daylight and in the nightlight.  You will need your own money for lunch and dinner (you may want to bring a bag lunch)  If you need to rent equipment, bring money for that ($13 ski equipment, $20 snowboard equipment).  Afton Alps is located in Hastings which is about a 30-45 minutes drive from St. John's.  Parents should bring participants to the school gym entrance between 9:45--10:00 a.m.  You can pick up at the school gym entrance at 7:00 p.m.  If parents  would like to chaperon, call Rick.  Permission slips and money need to be to Rick to be

Registration for St. John's School:  Registration of kindergarten for the 2001-2002 school year is part of CATHOLIC SCHOOLS WEEK, coming soon.  If you are considering enrolling your child, please join us at our OPEN HOUSE, Sunday, January 28 at 12:30--2:00 p.m.  Registration takes place in the gym from 12:30-1:30 p.m.
Please bring the following for registration:

1. Birth Certificate
   
2. Baptismal Certificate unless baptized at St. John's.
   
3. A fee of $50 is paid at the time of registration.  No   student is considered registered unless the fee         accompanies the registration form.
