A REMINDER ABOUT INTINCTION:
Dipping the consecrated host into the Precious Blood is the least favored method for receiving Holy Communion.  Those choosing Intinction are expected to observe the
following:

  • Receive the consecrated host in your open hand.
  • Carry it reverently to the cup minister who will take it from you.
  • He/she dips it into the Precious Blood and says, "The Blood of Christ."
  • Respond, "Amen."
  • Show the minister your tongue.
  • He/she will place the intincted host on your tongue.
  • Return to your pew.
