FIRST FRIDAY EUCHARISTIC ADORATION,
FEBRUARY 3 & 4, 2000

Jesus invites us to visit him in the Parish Center Chapel Thursday from 9:00am until 8:00am Friday morning.  The chapel is located on the first floor of the Parish Center near the south door.  Night adorers may park in the handicapped lot which is well-lighted.  You are invited to sign up on the boards near the church entrances so that Our Lord may not be unattended during adoration hours.

MAKARIA--CIRCLE OF STRENGTH
We just celebrated Martin Luther King's Birthday who preached non-violence.  Our Holy Father spoke against violence in his Christmas message.  We cannot read a newspaper or listen to the news, radio or T.V. and not be aware of the violence in our world. We have learned that violence can be in our own communities.  We ask you to say one Hail Mary a day for those in our community who are suffering from any form of violence.  We call it our "One Hail a Day Crusade".  We are not asking you to make a pledge, just tell our Blessed Mother what you are saying it for.  By doing this we can form a powerhouse of prayer.  This can become our Hail Mary Miracle.  How reassuring this will be for the members of our faith community knowing that their church is praying for them.
