Pastoral Ministry&
BEFRIENDER MINISTRY
Befrienders:  Wednesday, February 16 will be our annual Reflection Evening.  This will be a time to welcome our newly commissioned Befrienders; Ann, Diane, Barbara and Kathy.  Once a year we set aside time to reflect on our spiritual life both personally as well as through our Befriender Ministry.  Our evening will begin at 7:00pm in the Parish Center.
Anyone interested in learning more about joining Befriender Ministry can call Judy Quayle or Mary Ann Kelly-Wright in the Pastoral Ministry Office.

GROWING THROUGH LOSS
Grief Support Series
St. John's and the North Suburban Grief Support Coalition is pleased to present our six-week grief support series, Growing Through Loss.  Join us for one or all six sessions, Tuesday evenings, February 22 through March 28, at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church in Mounds View.  Each evening begins with registration at 6:45pm, followed by a speaker and small group discussions, ending at 9:00pm.

The first speaker of our Spring Series is Linda Lehmann-Norquist, M.A.L.P., Executive Director of the Center for Grief, Loss and Transition.  Her presentation,
Understanding the Grief Process, will focus on what you may experience after a loss.  Linda has shared her expertise with us many times in the past, and again we are privileged to hear her words which are gleaned from many years of work within the grief and loss field.  A donation of $3.00 per person or $5.00 per couple or family is requested per session attended.  (No one is turned away for inability to pay.)  For further information check the church bulletin boards or call Mary Ann in the Pastoral Ministry office.
