SEEKERS:  Adult Theological Book Club
We're SEEKERS.  We read, think, and discuss, hoping our head-knowledge will travel to our heart, where we find the Compassionate God.  You're welcome to join us at any of our meetings:  Second Thursday of every month, 7--8:30 pm, Parish Center.  The book to read for March 9 is:  Beyond Religion, by David N. Elkins, Ph. D Published by Quest Books, Wheaton, Illinois.

THE LIVING ROOM

The Living Room is a Christian Coffee House located in Roseville.  There will be an open mic. with poetry, music and prose, so bring your best material if you are interested.  Otherwise, come to watch!  Beverages will be available for sale.  Turn in permission slips to Rick Craig by deadline.

BASKETBALL TOURNEY
Sunday, March 5, 1:00--9:30 pm
Cost:  $10/team
DEADLINE:  March 2
Open to all 9 -12th graders!
Form your teams with your friends for this mini-tournament.  Teams are 5 people.  Games will be 20 minutes.  Winning team will win movie tickets.  Call Rick Craig and leave a message to sign up your team by 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 2.  (612) 754-7666.

Circle of Women&
Circle of Women invites ALL women of ALL ages to come join the circle on Thursday, February 24  (9:15--11:30am) in the lower level of the parish center.  Our featured speaker will be Laurie Ashbach, owner of the gift shop Vines and Branches.  Laurie will give us her personal testimony of how God changed her life.  Come and be inspired by her faith story and bring a friend!

Music Notes&
We are still basking in the afterglow of the Gwen Matthews Gospel concert.  What an event of praise, fun, excitement, community-building, and great music!  To have young and old, black and white, on stage and in the audience, all celebrating was truly an experience of "church".  Thanks to the choir and musicians for their long hours of rehearsal, and to the Circle of Women and Mary Ann Zervas for the expert and energetic work in publicity and hospitality.  Generosity and teamwork made it a success!
