CLOSING CEREMONY
Next Sunday, March 5, immediately following the 11:00 a.m. Mass there will be a brief ceremony to mark the official closing of the old Convent (Parish Center) building. This will take place outside at the front door of the Parish Center. Please help us mark this transition as we prepare to return this structure to the ground and break ground for our new St. John Center.

And the disciples recognized Jesus in the breaking of the bread& They were discouraged, going home to Emmaus. Their hopes were smashed. He walked with them, but they didn't recognize him until he broke the bread.

GIRL SCOUT SUNDAY
Next Sunday, March 5, is
being celebrated as Girl Scout Sunday. At St. John the Baptist Church, we will recognize this special day at the 9:30 a.m. Mass where Girl Scouts, their leaders and adult Girl Scout members are invited to participate. Meet in the Narthex at 9:15 a.m. Girl Scout greeters should arrive by 9:05 a.m.
