PRAYER LETTER MINISTRY
Each month over 200 Prayer Letters are mailed to St. John's prayer ministers; parishioners committed to the power of united, community prayer from the comfort of their homes. Prayer ministers offer prayers each day for unity, peace and special intentions of our families, parish, archdiocese and the universal Catholic Church. These daily prayers are a vital and strong witness to our faith on behalf of our community in an often too busy and sometimes too secular world. If you would like to join the strength of your daily prayer voice with this dedicated group call the Pastoral Ministry Office.
HEALTHEAST HOSPICE VOLUNTEERS
HealthEast Hospice invites you to join their Care team in supporting terminally ill patients and their families. As a trained volunteer you can offer needed respite to caregivers, bring peace and comfort to others by offering a helping hand, a compassionate ear or a gentle presence. Training sessions begin on Saturday, May 13. Call Mary at 651-232-3412 for more information.

Thanks to all our singers and instrumentalists for your extra commitment during Holy Week. Your talents helped us experience the depth and beauty of our tradition. There are no ensemble rehearsals this week.
ST. JOHN'S QUILTERS
An informal evening for quilters will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. in the rectory meeting room. Quilters of all levels and experience will be most welcome. Bring your current project for "show and tell" or advice and consultation. A video will be shown. Come and bring a friend!
