"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light for my path."     Psalm 119:105

ST. JOHN'S QUILTERS:
Congratulations and thanks to all who have contributed time and effort to make baby and crib quilts!  Because of you twelve beautiful quilts have found someone to love them through the Wacouta Life Care Center.  The need, however, has not diminished.  More are wanted.  We will gather Tuesday evening, June 27, 2000 at 7:00 p.m. in the Rectory Meeting Room to continue the project.  Bring a sewing machine if you are able.  Fabric will be available from our stash.  The morning group also continues to meet Wednesday from 9:00am--noon.  All are welcome to come to either or both groups.  Questions?  Call Margaret (763) 784-5094 or Myrtle (651) 633-5102.

REMINDER:
Hospitals in the metro area have a Catholic Chaplain assigned to them and most hospitals do not inform parishes anymore about parishioners who are patients.  If you should be hospitalized, let the Catholic Chaplain/Pastoral Care department know your wishes.  If you would like a visit from one of us at St. John's, be sure to have someone call us.  If you would like to be anointed with the Sacrament of the Sick before entering the hospital, just call or see one of the priests after daily or Sunday Mass.  Some people do not wish to be prayed for publicly or have their names in the bulletin.  If you do, please call the office.    -- Fr. Bill
