GALA SILENT AUCTION

Fallfest Gala Committee invites all parishioners, friends of St. John's, and business owners to participate in our Themed Auction Basket fundraiser.
The Gala Dinner will again feature the silent auction, with which we had success last year, thanks to your participation.  If you would like to participate please think of a basket or item which you would like to represent your business or yourself, put it together and donate it to the Gala.  Some ideas are holiday, seasonal, foods, sports, hobbies, bath, the list is endless.  The baskets were so lovely last year, we are sure you will be as creative this year.  Baskets or items can be turned into the Parish Center after September 1.

If you have any questions please call a member of the Gala committee

PAPER PRODUCTS FOR FOOD SHELF
Take a look at your grocery register receipt.  Notice how many non-grocery items you purchase at the grocery store.  The same needs exist for people without sufficient funds to buy enough groceries for their family.  We need those non-grocery items for their day-to-day needs too.  We could use some paper products for our food shelf i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, kleenex and diapers.  If you're a few bucks ahead of a payday, add some paper products to your grocery list for someone less fortunate and drop it off at the food collection boxes at the entrances to the church.  You'll make some family's day.  And, thanks for thinking of them!
