>Craft Table and Bake Sale  We are hoping that folks are willing to donate the fruits of labor in the areas of gift and holiday items, plants and baked goods.  They are also looking for a couple of people to help set-up the area and handle the sales.  Call the Parish Center at 651/633-8333 for more information.

The Gala dinner will again feature a silent auction of themed baskets. Baskets or items can be turned into the Parish Center after Friday, September 1.  If you are putting together a basket please call Sandy Leon (763/780-3479) or Lisa Nesser (651/636-4010).and get your name on the list of entries.

Seniors News&

CASINO TRIP!  Wednesday, September 6, 2000  You get a day of rest (or of washing clothes) between Labor Day and our next Casino trip.  $6, with $5 back at the   Casino.  Bingo on the bus.  Flyers are in the back of church or at the parish office.

MEETING CHANGE NOTICE:  It was decided at the last Seniors meeting that all future meetings will be held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month.  The next meeting will be Wed. August 16, 9:00 a.m. in the Rectory.  NOTE:  THE MEETING DATE IS CHANGED TO WEDNESDAY!

Prayer Healing Ministry


Anyone interested in becoming part of a prayer team to pray for healing of the sick and injured, there will be an informal and brief meeting on Tuesday night, August 15th at 8:00p.m. in the parish office (following the 7:00   p.m. Mass in honor of the Feast of the Assumption).  The possibility of attending a healing workshop by    Fr. George Kolath of St. Peter's Catholic Church in  N. St. Paul on August 26--28 will also be discussed.  If you cannot make the meeting, but are interested please contact Fr. Michael Becker at the parish office,     (651) 633-8333.
