Music Notes&
HEAR YE!  HEAR YE!
We are in intense preparation for the return of our major ensembles in September.  The 9:30 Chancel Choir will begin rehearsals BEFORE       LABOR DAY on Wednesday, August 30 at 7:15 p.m. in the church.  The 11:00 Folk Group will begin rehearsals on Tuesday, September 5, 7:15 p.m. in the church.  We are currently seeking male singers for this group.  We rehearse and perform twice monthly.  The Children's Choir, for grades 3-6, will begin rehearsals Wednesday, September 13 from 5:45--6:30 p.m. in the church.  This group will perform monthly Sept.--May.  Finally, look for a Teen Choir! Launching in October, directed by parishioner Mary Ann Bennek.  More information will follow.  The Bell Choir is on hiatus, and we hope they will return sometime soon.

Next weekend, we will welcome the Folk Group from the Basilica of St. Mary to both our 9:30 & 11:00 a.m. Masses.  They visited our 4:30 mass several weeks ago and we are pleased to have them return.

NOTE:  For those of you who have requested the song, "Peace in the Valley," parishioner Carole Zimmer, accompanied by the jazz combo, will present it at the 4:30 mass next weekend!
