On Friday, November 2^nd, we took time to honor, remember, and pray for our family and friends who have died this past year. All Souls Day gives us that  time within our church community  to take pause and hold up our beloved dead.  Our hope is in knowing that all who have died have now found their place at the table of the eternal banquet in heaven. 
This parish of  St. John's is a source of great comfort over each passing year to many families who have losses to grieve.  Take a moment this week to thank God for each other, for the love received from one another, and to ask for the help we need to continue to carry one another until we are all gathered together in God's kingdom.

We hold up the names of those who have died this past year to our loving God's embrace.
