Parish Outreach&

HOME VISITOR TRAINING
In the past few months some of our parishioners have attended a training event for what we have called, "one-to-one" visits.  These people have begun making individual home visits to two specific categories of parishioners, newly registered and parents bringing a child for baptism.  Both groups are persons at a time of change in their lives, either new to the parish or new to parenthood.  The purpose of the visits is to get to know them and their interests and to help them get connected with others, staff or parishioners, who share their interests or can address their needs. If you think you would like to pursue this ministry, we are offering a training on Saturday, December 15, 9:00 a.m.--12:00 p.m., in the Jean Jugan Room (lower level).  Persons who have attended a previous training and would like a refresher or have unanswered questions are also welcome.  Call Teri Shea or Joe Kenney at the parish office, 651-633-8333 for further information or to make a reservation.
