Little Lights Preschool&

"Top Ten Signs of a Great Preschool"

(According to the National Association for Education of Young Children (NAEYC) )
#7 Children have an opportunity to play outside every day.
At St. John's Little Lights Preschool...
We will have large muscle time every day.  This might include going outdoors, if weather permits, or using other part of the facility to be able to run, jump, skip, play with balls or the parachute.  Children need to exercise and also learn "team" games and relays.
#8  Teachers read books to children individually or in small groups throughout the day, not just at group story time.
At St. John's Little Lights Preschool..&
There will always be books available to children as a permanent station.  Children will be read to as much as possible, and also encouraged to explore the books on their own.  This is also an excellent opportunity for parent or senior volunteers to share their time.  Children love to read books and listen to stories.

St. John's new preschool program is striving for  excellence and expected to open this coming October.  Many have already registered, but we still have openings.  Please call Mary Walus at 651-633-8333  for info./registration materials or on the web at www.stjohnnb.com/LittleLightsPreschool
