WHAT IS THE TRIDUUM? How can it be of value to myself, my family?  How can I start some Easter traditions with my family? Easy - just take a small leaflet home with you this weekend giving all kinds of practical suggestions for the Three Days - it's simple, it's interesting and best of all, it's FREE. Stop by the Information Desk or pick one up today through Palm Sunday at the Baptistry.

PALM WEAVING
In preparation for Palm Sunday, we will be weaving palms on Friday, April 6 immediately following Stations of the Cross. We need lots of weavers to finish the job. If you would like to learn how to 'SET THE PATTERN' we can teach you on Tuesday evening, April 3  immediately following the Communal Penance Service at 7:00 pm.

HELP???
Does anyone in the Parish Community have access to small bottles, either glass or    plastic with lids that can be used for Easter Water. We would like to be able to give out Easter Water following the Easter Vigil. We are in need of at least 1200 - 1500 bottles. Call Jay if you have any ideas - 651-633-8333. Thanks!

PALM SUNDAY PROCESSIONS
For those people who would like to be in the entry procession on Palm Sunday, please sit on the EAST side of the nave as the procession will enter through the east wall  between the 4th and 5th Stations of the Cross. Parents can carry their 'little ones' on their shoulders so they too can see and be a part of the procession!

EASTER CHURCH ENVIRONMENT
We will be decorating the Church for Easter following the Good Friday Tenebrae Service, about 8:45 pm. Decorating continues on Holy Saturday at 10:30 am. We need your help!

For your Holy Week
reflection.

Embracing the Cross

The difference
Between a cross and a crucifix
Is a naked man lost,
Totally at the mercy
Of the sea of his own blood.

The difference is pain.
The difference is the lash
That rises and falls
Like a tide, like a man's
Frantically beating heart.

The difference is joy
That comes with the dawn,
With the knowledge that
The steel-jawed bear trap
Is too rusty to draw blood.

The difference is peace
That enters your heart
When you find yourself
Able and willing to meet
The man's pain-glazed eyes.

The difference is
Quiet pride that you feel
When you risk the mob's wrath
Not to save him--but to kiss
His spittle covered face.

You will know the difference Between a cross
And a crucifix
When you catch yourself
Longing to take his place.
