A CATHOLIC EDUCATION IS WORTH THE SACRIFICE
At times his family got tired of the never-ending parade of bake sales, candy bars, and other fundraisers.   But looking back at it all, "Sounding Board" author Ed Wojcicki finds that the extra cost and effort of sending his kids to Catholic schools were well worth it.  Check out the May issue of  U.S. CATHOLIC on the parish reading rack (located at the west entrance) to find out about this and many other stories.

Music Notes&
Our adult choir salutes our mothers today, along with all women, with two offerings:  Gounod's classic "Ave Maria" and a contemporary piece by Dori Erwin Collins, "Mothering God"  The latter text highlights feminine images of God, based on writings of the female mystic Julian of Norwich, c. 1342-1413.

At 11:30, our group,
Spiritu, offers a more contemporary version of "Ave Maria," by Daniel Kantor (Gather 565).  Our prelude is "Christ is Risen!  Shout Hosanna!", setting by Cheri Sykes.
