Music Notes&
Today is the final appearance of the year for St. John's 9:30 Adult Choir, as this hard-working group is off during the summer for a well-deserved respite.  This choir rehearses every week for two hours, and sings every week September--May.  Many thanks, choir, for your gift of musical leadership and inspiration--you add so much to our liturgies!
Next week we will celebrate Pentecost at the 9:30 and 11:30 Masses with brass choir and an a cappella schola.

Stewardship&
The stewardship committee is proud to announce that an additional $125,000 has been received for our building project.  The gift will allow the building to be completed as originally designed--to include the folding partition walls.  The parish received an anonymous gift of $50,000 and bequest from a will for $77,000.  We wish to thank those that made the contribution to allow us to complete our project as originally designed.
