Thank you, God, for those who, by their very being, make life more enjoyable for others.  Whether by their smiles, their humorous outlook on life, their openness to others' happiness and pain, the lilt in their voices, or the skip in their walk, some people just make us glad we share the earth with them.  With deep gratitude, we remember before you the many individuals who have blessed our lives.  Help us, likewise to be blessings to others. AMEN.

CANCER SPIRITUALITY GROUP
Cancer Spirituality Group meets Wednesday, June 6 from 12:00--2:00 p.m.  We will have a potluck salad lunch with a speaker on the "Heart of Healing".  This is our last meeting until September.  Come join this wonderful group.

HEALING MASS
On Wednesday, June 13 at 2:00 p.m., you are invited to join with other members of our parish to celebrate Mass, be anointed and pray for God's healing grace and love for one another.  We will share hospitality after Mass.

Seniors&
DULUTH, ELY, FORTUNE BAY TOUR
The Silvertones are sponsoring a three day, two night bus excursion to Duluth, Ely and Fortune Bay Casino leaving on August 1 and returning August 3.  It will begin with a drive to Duluth where we will have a buffet lunch, harbor cruise, and visit the Great Lakes Aquarium.  On to Fortune Bay Resort and Casino for the night.  Day two we will tour highlights of Ely including the International Wolf Center and the Dorothy Molter Museum.  Second night will also be spent at Fortune Bay.  On day three we wind our way back arriving at St. John's by late afternoon.  Cost is $189 per person double, $269 single.  Additional information and registration forms are available in the "Seniors" rack at the east and west entrances.  Deadline for registration is June 25.  Space is limited and registration will be closed when the trip is full.
