Building Project Update&
Work continues on the west side of our new building, as the framing of the chapel's exterior walls and area around the canopy and entrance is completed.  They have now constructed the interior walls that will separate the daily Mass chapel from the adoration chapel and the bathroom that is located in that area.  The electricians have installed the bases for the nine light poles that will be installed on the west side of the property.  This new lighting will be both functional and decorative.  Sidewalks have been poured and the exposed aggregate that will be part of the landscape have been put in place.  They have also started the excavating work on the east side of the building.  The east side will have a new parking lot when the project is completed.  Air conditioning equipment will be housed in the area where they have constructed the brick walls on the north side of the garage by the school.  We are 47 days and counting until dedication weekend.  Mark your calendar and watch for weekly bulletin updates!

Why study the Bible anyway?

  1. Scriptures are at the heart of the Catholic faith.
  2. An effort to know the Bible is an effort to understand our faith and our heritage as Catholics.
  3. As the Word of God, the Bible has the potential to deepen our relationship with God.
  4. Study and reflection on God's word can literally transform our lives.
  5. Sharing scripture stories personally and in small groups give us a fuller experience of what it means to be part of a community of faith.
  6. As Catholics it promotes dialogue and evangelization with people of other faiths as well as other Christian denominations.
  7. To see how God has been involved with us  since the very beginning.
