Kindermusik

All Kindermusik classes begin October 14th.  There are still openings available in all classes.  Registrations forms are available in the pastoral office.  Call Mary Anne Bennek (651) 633-8333 ext. 1220.


COATS NEEDED:  St. John's, along with the area churches, are again collecting coats, gloves, scarves and new hats for our 5th Annual Coat Giveaway  on October 26th at the New Brighton Community Center.  We
especially need children's items and large men's coats.  These were gone within the first hour last year.  Labeled boxes will be at the east and west entrances of the church.  For information call Carole Beggs (651) 639-9103. 

OPEN DOORS - A social group for divorced, widowed, and single men and women -- meets the second Tuesday of each month from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. in the St. Vincent De Paul Room for socializing and snacks.  Come to the meetings or just the events.  You're always welcome!!

October 24 - Restaurant of the Month.  Meet at 6:30 p.m. at The 50's Grille at 5524 Brooklyn Blvd in Brooklyn Center.  Call Deb at 651-639-8210 to RSVP by 10/22. 

October 26 - Retreat.  Inspirational speaker, Cheryl Karpen, will lead this evening retreat focused on celebrating where you're at in life. Time is 6:30-10:30 p.m. in St. Joseph's Hall.   A light dinner and beverages will be provided.  Please call Anne Marie at 651-633-8333 for details and RSVP by 10/15.

Two hours, 1-2 times per month to help others experiencing a crisis pregnancy or who just needs someone to talk to. Birthright offers free pregnancy testing, educates and supports people in making alternative choices to abortion.
