Society of St. Vincent de Paul HERE'S A THOUGHT: When we sit in our warm homes and watch the plight of the homeless on the 10 o'clock news, do we say we wish we could do something to help? WELL, WE CAN! Folks, we desperately need new or used blankets and men's tube socks! Only two weeks remain to collect (The drive ends Thanksgiving weekend.) What we get has to last them all winter! Please be generous, as you always are. As Mother Teresa always said, "God will not be outdone in generosity." HERE'S ANOTHER THOUGHT; Why not ask our Thanksgiving guests to bring a 6-pack of socks or a blanket to dinner at our house? It is our chance to light a candle rather than curse the darkness! (Consider this notice the match!) Adoration ADORATION COMMITTEE MEETING NOVEMBER 19 The St. John's Adoration Committee will meet Tuesday, November 19 in the St. Vincent de Paul (Rm 210) at 7:30 pm. Please note time change. Hour coordinators are encouraged to attend and other interested persons are welcome!
