ADULT THEOLOGICAL BOOK CLUB
You are always welcome to join us, we ask only that you read the book- or at least a good part of it!  For the busy month of December, we have chosen a magazine article:  The Next Christianity  by Philip Jenkins.  It is found in the Atlantic Monthly,  October 2002- or contact Dorothy Kunze (651) 633-1205.  She has a few copies.  We will meet Thursday, December 12, 7-8:30 pm in the Pastoral Center.  Explore your faith, expand your vision.

SUDDENLY IT'S CHRISTMAS EVE!

Do you wait until a few days before Christmas to start shopping?  Or do you wait until Christmas Eve to Start?  Horrors!  Do you vow that nest year you'll start earlier?
Did you plan to buy socks or blankets for the homeless and bring them to St. John's a  few weeks ago, but for some reason didn't get to it yet?  Well, guess what?  Next weekend (Nov. 30th and Dec. 1)  is Christmas Eve!  At least it is for the homeless of Simpson House, St. Stephens and The Women's Shelter!  That's because it your last chance to contribute.  If you haven't shopped yet, please do so now before it is too late.  (Bins are at all church doors)  help the homeless have a Merry Christmas and you have one,  too.
