Faith Formation&
FIRST EUCHARIST PARENTS MEETINGS
First Eucharist Parent meetings will be held on Thursday, January 31 at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, February 2 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Hall.  Parent letters were sent out last week with the calendars.  Questions?  Call Teresa Neuman at 651-633-1540 ext. 1234.

BAPTISM CLASSES

CELEBRATE THE WORD
Celebrate the Word meets during the 9:30 & 11:30 a.m. Masses in the Chapel of the Angels (after dismissal in Mass).  We are still in need of adults to help with music and programming, it's easy to share your faith with the children of St. John's.  All training and materials are    provided.  Please call Teresa Nueman at 651-633-1540  ext. 1234.

Adult Faith Formation&
SEEKERS (Adult Theological Book Club)
We are seeking to form an adult faith.  We read a wide  variety of books, and raise a variety of questions.  You are always welcome to join us, we ask only that you read the book.  The book for January is Papal Sin by Garry Wills (Image Books, Doubleday).  We will meet Thursday,   January 31, 7-8:30 p.m., St. Vincent De Paul Room.     Questions call Mary Ann Zervas at 651-633-1540.

CIRCLE OF WOMEN
The Circle of Women invites ALL women of ALL ages to join us this Thursday, January 31, 2002 at 9:15 a.m. in the Pastoral Center Upper Level.  Back by popular demand from their 2001 presentation are Betty Beier and Carol Johnson with their presentation "Cancer and the Environment". Betty, a uterine cancer survivor, is a board member of the Women's Cancer Resource Center in Minneapolis.  Carol, a breast cancer survivor, is the Environmental Program Coordinator for the Women's Resource Center.  Their presentation will stress the need for women to be concerned about the chemicals we bring into our lives- especially women of childbearing age--and returning to homemade cleaning concoctions.   Childcare is provided by Kari Gill (please pre-register your child by calling 763-785-6947).

PLANNING A WEDDING AT ST. JOHN'S?

The next wedding workshop will be Thursday, February 7, from 7:00--8:30 p.m. in the Pastoral Center.  Anyone planning a wedding is required to come to a workshop to help plan your wedding liturgy, including readings and music.  Please call the parish office to register for the workshop.
