"FMF" IS COMING!
Families Moving Forward is coming in December.  Watch for more details.

"Do not depend on the hope of results.  When you are doing the sort of work you have taken on& you may have to face the fact that your work will be apparently worthless and even achieve no result at all, if not perhaps results opposite to what you expect.  As you get used to this idea, you start more and more to concentrate not on results, but on value, the rightness, the truth of the work itself.  And there, too, a great deal has to be gone through, as gradually you struggle less and less for an idea and more and more for specific people.  The range tends to narrow down, but it gets more real.  In the end, it is the reality of personal relationships that saves everything.

OPEN DOORS (divorced/widowed singles)
This Saturday, Open Doors will have a pizza party/game night in St. Joseph Hall.  We will gather at 6:30 p.m. This is our 4th dinner & game night and we have had a BLAST!  This is a very fun group of people to be with.  If you have never joined us before, come Saturday.  Free will offering for pizza and beverages collected on the  evening of our gathering.  Questions?  Call Anne Marie, 651-633-8333 ext. 1237.

FR. DON SCHWALM
Fr. Don Schwalm has served us here at St. John's with weekend Masses and he has faithfully celebrated Mass at our nursing homes and anointed our friends there.  He usually does five masses each month for our nursing home ministry.  Fr. Don recently celebrated his 50th Anniversary in service to the priesthood.
Congratulations, Fr. Don!  May God continue to bless you and the ministry you do so faithfully.

KINDERMUSIK

Coming to St. John's this fall!

Kindermusik is a unique early childhood music   education program geared for newborns - age 7.  Classes are divided into  four age levels and will be offered this fall by licensed Kindermusik instructor Mary Anne Bennek.
This is a
great enrichment opportunity for children (and parents too)!  Information forms are available at the Parish Office or by calling Mary Anne Bennek (ext. 1220).  There will be an OPEN HOUSE on Thursday,  August 22 to meet Mary Anne Bennek and find out what Kindermusik is all about!
