ATTENTION SENIORS--MEETING CHANGE!
For the summer months of June, July & August only, the Silvertones will meet on the third Tuesday morning at approximately 9:15 a.m. (Immediately following the 8:30 a.m. Mass.)  The June meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 18 in the Jeanne Jugan Room in the lower level of the Pastoral Center.  No reservation is needed for the summer meetings.  All persons who wish to come are welcome.

RESPECT LIFE
The St. John's Respect Life Committee will meet Tuesday, June 4,  at 7:00 p.m. in the St. Clare Conference Room in the Pastoral Center.  All members and other interested parties are invited to attend.

USED BOOK SALE
Looking  to save money and still enjoy some relaxing entertaining?  Stock up  on cheap books!  The Sisters  of St. Joseph Ministries Foundation invites you to its Fourth Annual Used Book Sale.  The sale will take place on Saturday, June 8 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, June 9 from 11 a.m.  to 4 p.m. at Carondelet Center, 1890 Randolph Avenue, St. Paul.  The sale will benefit      ministries in which Sisters of St. Joseph serve.  Thank you for your continued support.
Liturgy News&
SERVER TRAINING
Training for new servers, June 10--14, 9:30 a.m.--noon.  Class size is limited to 16--sign up early!  Students who are entering Grade six and older are welcome to become servers.  Register by calling Teri at 651-633-8333.

Vacation Bible School

LAST CHANCE TO REGISTER!  Vacation Bible School runs from 9:00 a.m.--noon, June 17-21 and is offered to children age 3--grade 5.  Register now!  Forms are available near the west entrance or at the parish office.  For more information call Mary Walus ext. 1227.

OPEN DOORS (divorced/widowed/singles group) meets the second Tuesday of each month from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in the St. Martin de Porres Room for socializing and snacks.   

UPCOMING EVENTS:
Every Wednesday - REMINDER - Group will walk every Wednesday (weather permitting) from 6:00-7:00 p.m.  Meet at the boat launch area at Long Lake Regional Park (Take 694 to Long Lake Road & go north - take a right at Beach Road and follow signs to boat launch/lake access).  Call Barb at 763-784-6399 with any questions. 

June 8 - Twins Game -- Twins vs. Florida Marlins -- game time is 6:05 p.m.  Optional: Meet at 4:00 p.m. at Grandma's (1810 Washington Ave S, MN) for an early dinner.  Reservations under "Open Doors."  Cost of ticket is $10.  Money must be dropped off or mailed to St. John's Church, Attention:  Open Doors/Twins Game. RSVP dated extended to June 1 -- Call Paul at 763-789-4239.
