IF YOU CAN...
Sew, cut, tie knots, etc. you can be part of a quilt-making group working on quilts for our upcoming Families  Moving Forward (FMF) program coming December 8.  Our goal is 18 single bed coverlets.  Helpers meet from 1:00--3:00 p.m. at St. John's the 2nd Thurs. & 4th Friday of the month.  Call Myrtle at 651-633-5102 or Carol at  651-639-9103 for more information.

FOOD SHELF
Just a reminder--demands on the food shelf do not decrease in the summertime.  In fact, they usually increase because kids are at home and eating three times a day.  During the school year they benefit from the meal programs both for breakfast and lunch.  These are generally not available to them in the summer months.  If you think of them when you are shopping, please pick up a couple of extra basic items for the food shelf.  Thanks for your continuing generous support of our local food shelves!
