St. John's invites sponsorship for the following Fallfest events.  Your name or company name will go on a sign next to the event and on a thank you sign in church!

OPEN DOORS - A social group for divorced, widowed, and single men and women -- meets the second     Tuesday of each month from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. in St. Martin de Porres Room for socializing and snacks.  Come to the meetings or just the events.  You're always welcome!! 

UPCOMING EVENTS:
Every Wednesday - REMINDER - Group walks every Wednesday (weather permitting) from 6:00-7:00 p.m.  Meet at the boat launch area at Long Lake Regional Park.  Call Barb at 763-784-6399 with any questions. 


August 13 - Planning meeting for fall activities.  Come and share your ideas and/or volunteer to coordinate an event!  Meet 7:30-9:00 p.m. in St. Martin de Porres Rm.


August 22 - "Restaurant of the Month" - Meet at 6:30 p.m. at Lindey's Prime Steak House at 3600 Snelling Ave. N. (Old Snelling & County Rd. E in Arden Hills.)  Call Arnie at 651-633-2940 to RSVP by August 19.

Respect Life
Baby Bush


St. John's Respect Life Committee will "plant" a Baby Bush in St. Paul Plaza next weekend (Aug. 3/4).  You may "pick" a card with a needed baby item for the women who come to Northside Life Care Center and  Birthright.  Often the loving concern and practical help offered by their dedicated volunteers will move a woman to have a more positive view of her pregnancy.  Items may be returned the following weekend.
