MARATHON

The marathon for Nonpublic School Education is an enormously important resource for our community at St. John the Baptist.  The money raised each year goes for a variety of projects that might otherwise be deferred.

Just as we are all members of a community of faith, we are also members of our city, state, nation and word communities.  Last year's marathon paid for the beautiful American flag and lighting that you now see flying 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  There is a pride and comfort in seeing that flag which is invaluable.

The marathon will occur October 6.  Prior to that time, the children will be raising pledges.  Parents will be calling around for pledges.  Every $5 or $10 is greatly appreciated. If you are not contacted and wish to help,  please call the school office at (651) 633-1522. If you know of an organization that might support this effort, please let Sr. Gwendolin Know.  If you are contacted and can help- THANK  YOU.  If you are contacted and cannot help this year-WISH US WELL.
This is a community effort.  With your help, it will be a success.
