School News

There are NO CLASSES for students October 16 and 17   because of the MEA Convention.
     Please continue to save Campbell's Labels for Education Program, General Mills for Education Box Tops, Kemps Milk caps, empty laser and inkjet cartridges, and bring them to the school office.  Please continue to use your Target Guest Card, too.
     Student Government will be collecting pop tabs this school year, so please have your child bring your family's tabs to school and drop them in the canister at the top of the stairs by the flagpole door.  The tabs collected will then be sent to the Ronald McDonald House.  Please help contribute to this fund throughout the year.  Your donations are greatly appreciated!

ST. JOHN'S 20 YEAR CLASS REUNION: CLASS OF 1983
St. John the Baptist School's eighth grade class of 1983 will have its 20-year reunion on Saturday, October 11, in St.   Joseph's Hall. Dinner to follow the 4:30 p.m. Mass. BIRTHRIGHT OFFICE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for two hours, 1 - 2 times per month, to help others experiencing a crisis pregnancy. Birthright offers free pregnancy testing and supports people in making alternative choices to abortion. Training is Saturday, Nov. 22, 8:45 am - 4:00 pm, and Sunday, Nov. 23, 11:45 am - 4:00 pm. THE BABY BUSH has "bloomed" here at St. John's!  We delivered many baby items to Northside Life Care Center and Birthright (including quilts from the Quilters). Thanks!
