Pastoral Ministry

NEEDED:  Respite a couple of hours a week, or whatever you can offer, for a parishioner in need of our help in caring for a loved one.  If you can help, please call Gail at Catholic Charities, 651-215-2237.

NEEDED:  The school children make artwork for the  nursing homes we serve several times over the course of the year that coincide with the holidays, etc.  A volunteer is needed a few times over the course of the school year to come pick up the artwork and deliver it to the nursing homes.  If you would be willing to do this, please call Anne Marie at 651-633-8333, ext. 1237.

NURSING HOME MINISTRY help is needed at Presbyterian Homes to assist with the Word/Communion Services and room visits. The service at Presbyterian Homes is at 11:45 a.m. every Tuesday.  If you can help, call Anne Marie at 651-633-8333, ext. 1237. This is a very rewarding  ministry; training is available. 

TODAY: SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 16  Church of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Maplewood will have a gathering at 2:00 p.m. for the Naming of Children and Commending of Those Children Who Have Died Before Birth… A Time to Heal, A Time for Peace… You are Invited...

SILVERTONES will be meeting on Wednesday, November 19.  We will be planning the Old Fashioned Bake Sale. 

CATS  Join us as we travel to The Chanhassen Dinner Theatre on Wednesday, December 3, to see the hit musical   "CATS." T.S. Eliot's poems in Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, are set to music by Andrew Lloyd Webber in this song and dance spectacle about Eliot's whimsical feline characters. This musical is filled with incredible energy and creativity!
