Music Notes...
We are introducing new eucharistic acclamations at the Sunday 6:15 liturgy, in keeping with the new rubrics which emphasize the importance of congregational singing at every mass.  The new acclamations, from David Hurd's 1980 mass, A New Plainsong, are in the a cappella chant style of the great foundational musical tradition of the Church, Gregorian Chant.  We believe they will work well with the simpler, "back to basics" style of this liturgy.
A Blast From the Past:  All during the month of February, the adult choir will be reviving favorite SJB anthems from the past, whetting your appetite for our Sunday, March 2 concert, 100 Years of Music at SJB.  All of our music ensembles will participate in this event.  Mark your calendars!

Adoration...
Adorers are needed for 1-2 AM and 7-8 AM Fridays, and 5-6AM Saturdays.  Other days and times are also available.  Please consider spending an hour each week in adoration.  Find quiet, peace and joy being in the presence of Jesus.  Call Jerry  at (651) 636-2054 or Dorothy at (651) 636-1660 to sign up.
