St. John's Hail Mary Crusade
Violence manifests itself in many parts of our lives and the world. It can be in the home or in the street or in our state or nation. It can be in form of road rage, domestic abuse or acts of terrorism. We cannot read a newspaper or listen to the news on radio or television and not be aware of the violence in our world. We ask you to join members of our church community and other church communities in saying one Hail Mary a day for those who are suffering from any form of violence. We thank those who are doing it and we thank the various organizations that make the Hail Mary against violence a part of their prayers before or after their meetings. We believe that prayer changes things and in these turbulent times it is reassuring knowing that we are praying together. Together we ask, seek, and knock at the doors of heaven to help us in these troubled times. And what better way than to ask Our Blessed Mother to intercede for us at the throne of her Divine Son. May God Bless each and every one of you in a special way for responding.
