Today is the Day! 
After Church, please go to Great Harvest Bakery at 43rd and Upton in South Minneapolis to buy muffins, scones and cookies to benefit Families Moving Forward.   As bakers for a day,  FMF receives every penny spent at the bakery today.  This is a great tasting way to assist this important ministry St. John's is a part of--The bakery is open from 9:00-5:00 today.

OPEN DOORS - A social group for divorced, widowed, and single men and women -- meets the second Tuesday of each month from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. in the St. Vincent De Paul Room for socializing and snacks.  Come to the meetings or just the events.  You're always welcome!!

March 22 - Two Year Anniversary Party of Open Doors!!  This fun-filled night will be held from 6:30 - 10:30 p.m. in St. Joseph's Hall.  Food and beverages will be provided.  Watch for additional details.

HOLY THURSDAY CHURCH TOUR, APRIL 17TH 
Join others from St. John's as we make our traditional visits to five old, some historic Catholic Churches located south and west of the metro area.  Lunch will be at the Minnesota Horse and Hunt Club.  Cost:   $35 for Silvertone members ($40 for non members) includes, motor coach transportation, lunch and a donation to  church.  Depart from St. John's 8:30 am, return approximately 3:00 pm.  Deadline for Reservations:    March 25, 2003.   Registration forms are located in the parish office.

JOB OPENING  St. John's Maintenance Department has a job opening, beginning April 1, for a full-time cleaning person.  Hours are evening/ some weekends.  We offer competitive salary with full benefits package.  Contact Bob Mike at (651) 633-8333.

The weekend of April 5th and 6th will mark the first anniversary of Perpetual Adoration in our parish. Parishioners are encouraged to sign up at a table in St. Paul Plaza for an hour of adoration.  Adorers will answer questions about adoration.
