NURSING HOME HELP NEEDED…
We offer Word/ communion services at several nursing homes and assisted living facilities in  the area-
This ministry is very rewarding and meaningful for our many friends con't get to church any longer-
WE NEED YOUR HELP…
At Trevilla- the second Thursday evening of the month at 7:15 PM
At St. Anthony- the first Thursday at 2:00 PM and the 3rd Thursday Evening at 7:00 PM
If you are interested, Call Anne Marie (651) 633-8333.  You will always work with someone else and you will be trained if this is a new experience for you.
FAMILIES MOVING FORWARD 
     Families Moving Forward guests will be here beginning this Sunday Evening until Sunday Morning May 4th.
     The second floor  rooms will be our guests living room and bedrooms.  Please respect their privacy while they are here.
     A big thanks to the many volunteers who will be making this wonderful ministry happen.

St. Vincent de Paul Society…
     Our Annual Spring Cleaning Clothing collection  sponsored by St. Vincent de Paul will be held Saturday, May 3rd from 9:00-12:00 noon.  Look for the truck in the church parking lot. 
     Books for the Sisters of St. Joseph will also be collected that day.  Please no textbooks, magazines or Readers Digest condensed books.

Circle of Women…

     We welcome women of all ages to our last regular Thursday Morning meeting on May 1, 2003 from 9:15- 11:30 am.  Our final speaker will be Angie Bailey, Enlightened Parenting columnist from The Edge.  She will present The Power of 1:  Choosing Kindness.  One person can change the world.....Come join the Circle and bring a friend!

ADULT THEOLOGICAL BOOK CLUB  You are always welcome to join us, we ask only that you read the assignment-or at least a good part of it!  Our book selection for April and May is Who Killed Jesus?    By John Dominic Crossan.  Read up to page 117 for April.  The meeting is Thursday, April 24, 7:00-8:30 pm. In the St. John Pastoral Center, St. Vincent de Paul (Room 210) We are seeking to develop an adult faith.  We invite you to join us and explore your faith and expand your vision.

THE 29TH ANNUAL SENIOR CITIZEN
RECOGNITION MASS AND CELEBRATION: 
Sponsored by Catholic Charities-Division of Aging Services, will  be held on Wednesday, May 7th, 2003 at the Church of St. Michael, 16400 Duluth Ave. SE, Prior Lake.   
Check in begins at 10:00 am with Mass being celebrated by Archbishop Harry J. Flynn at 10:45 am followed by lunch and entertainment. 
Registration is required and must be received by April 30, 2003.  Cost for the event is $15 with  participants providing their own transportation.  To register send name, address and phone number to Catholic Charities, 215 Old 6th Street, St. Paul, MN  55102-1077.
