NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING CLASSES

Modern Natural Family Planning is based on comprehensive scientific research, is healthy and marriage building!  A series of classes on the highly effective Billings Ovulation Method, Taught by a qualified instructor, will begin in several local sites on:  Sunday May 18th - St. John the Baptist, New Brighton (Billings OM, 651-789-9422) or Monday, May 19th - Corpus Christi, Roseville (Billings OM, 651-789-9422)

SPRING CONCERT   The Northeast Orchestra invites you to their spring concert on Sunday, May 18 at 3:00 pm.  The concert is being held for the first time at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.  Previously, the orchestra has held their concerts in St. Philip's Lutheran Church and St. William's Catholic Church.  The concert will feature the "New World Symphony" by Dvorak and selections from Sibelius and Borodin.  A free will offering will be taken.   

ALL CITY CHARISMATIC MASS   This annual event celebrating the Feast of Pentecost is sponsored by the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Office of the Archdiocese.  This year's Mass will be held at St. Peter's Church in North St. Paul at 2:00 pm on Pentecost Sunday,  June 8th.   Celebrant and homilist will be Bishop Pates.  Refreshments and fellowship will follow Mass. 

Adoration

Two adorers are urgently  needed for the 3-4 AM Fridays.

Silvertones…

SILVERTONES MEETING  There will be a Silvertones Meeting on Wednesday, May 21st.  Join us for lunch at the New Brighton Service Center at Noon.  (Please make your own reservation.)  The Meeting will be held after lunch, approximately 1:00 pm, in the Lower Level of the Pastoral Center.   
WISCONSIN COUNTRYSIDE    On Monday, June 9th, let's  give our neighbors in Wisconsin a visit as you savor the beauty of the country side.  We'll visit the Museum of Woodcarving in Shell Lake.  Among the displays are life-sized figures depicting the life of Christ, including the "Last Supper".                                                         
In Spooner, enjoy a delicious lunch of Chicken Cordon Bleu while enjoying a nostalgic train trip.  Cost:  $40.00 for a Silvertone member; $45.00 for non members.  Cost includes: Motorcoach transportation, lunch, train and    museum admission.  Depart from St. John's at 9:00 am and return at approximately 4: 30 pm .  Deadline for reservations is May 22nd.  No refunds after June 3rd.
