STILL NEEDED:  We are still in need of Nursing Home  Ministry help for Presbyterian Homes on the 2nd, 3rd or 4th Tuesday morning at 11:45 am.
     Also Ministry help is needed on the 2nd Thursday evening of the month at 7:00 pm  at St. Anthony Health Care.

Music Notes...

     KINDERMUSIK  camp is coming to St. John's!  This one week music enrichment camp is open to all 4-7 year olds, and will be held the week of June 9-13th at St. John's.  There will be both a morning and afternoon session.  Flyers will be available in the Parish Office.   Enrollment is limited to 12 students per session. ADULT THEOLOGICAL BOOK CLUB  You are always welcome to join us, we ask only that you read the assignment-or at least a good part of it!  Our book selection for April and May is Who Killed Jesus?    By John Dominic Crossan.  Read from page 117 to the end of the book for May.  The meeting is Thursday, May 29, 7:00-8:30 pm. In the St. John Pastoral Center, St. Vincent de Paul (Room 210) We are seeking to develop an adult faith.  We invite you to join us and explore your faith and expand your vision.

Silvertones…

WISCONSIN COUNTRYSIDE    On Monday, June 9th, let's  give our neighbors in Wisconsin a visit as you savor the beauty of the country side.  We'll visit the Museum of Woodcarving in Shell Lake.  Among the displays are life-sized figures depicting the life of Christ, including the "Last Supper".                                                         
In Spooner, enjoy a delicious lunch of Chicken Cordon Bleu while enjoying a nostalgic train trip.  Cost:  $40.00 for a Silvertone member; $45.00 for non members.  Cost includes: Motorcoach transportation, lunch, train and  museum admission.  Depart from St. John's at 9:00 am and return at approximately 4: 30 pm .  Deadline for reservations is May 22nd.  No refunds after June 3rd. 
Council of Catholic Women...
There will not be a May meeting of the CCW.  The next Meeting will be in September 2003.
Irondale Baccalureate...
The senior class of Irondale High School invites family and friends to the Baccalaureate ceremony on Sunday, June 1st at 3:00pm.  Refreshments to follow in St. Joseph's Hall.
