OPEN DOORS - A social group for divorced, widowed, and single men and women -- meets the second Tuesday of each month from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. in the St. Vincent De Paul Room for socializing and snacks.  Come to the meetings or just the events. 
The door is open -- you're always welcome!!

May 28 - Walking and Jogging Groups will meet every Wednesday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. (weather permitting). Meet at the boat launch area at Long Lake Regional Park (Take 694 to Long Lake Road & go north - take a right at Beach Road and follow signs to boat launch/lake access).  Call Barb at 763-784-6399 with any questions.
May 31-Big Band (Swing) Hangar Dance  at CAF Hangar, 310 Airport Road, Fleming Field, South St. Paul Airport from 6:00 pm to midnight.  Free swing dance instruction from 7:00-8:00.  Cost is $8.00  Food and beverages are extra but not expensive.  More details at www.cafsmw.org.  Group will meet at 5:00 at St. john's parking lot to carpool.  RSVP to Jan at (651) 780-2142 by 5/30.
RSVP by May 31 for Saints game on August 9 at 7:05 p.m.  Payment for ticket ($4.00) needed in advance.  Make check payable to St. John the Baptist and drop off or mail to St. John's, "Attn: Open Doors-Saints Game" (see address above) on or before May 31.  RSVP to Kathy at 763-712-0659 by 5/31.  Sorry - no refunds available.

PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELING is again available to all St. John's parishioners, on a no fee basis.  Tuesday hours are between 10 and 3.  Call Teri at (651) 633-8333. 
ALL CITY CHARISMATIC MASS   This annual event celebrating the Feast of Pentecost is sponsored by the    Catholic Charismatic Renewal Office of the Archdiocese.  This year's Mass will be held at St. Peter's Church in North St. Paul at 2:00 pm on Pentecost Sunday,  June 8th.   Celebrant and homilist will be Bishop Pates.  Refreshments and fellowship will follow Mass. 

THE CALIX SOCIETY    The Calix Society  is a group of Catholic recovering alcoholics that meet to discuss how to apply their Catholic faith and traditions to their program.  The Calix Society meet on the third Sunday of the Month at the Cathedral.  We meet for the 8:00 am Mass and then have breakfast and a meeting in the Assembly room in the basement.  Join us!  For more information see www.calixsociety.org
