RURAL LIFE SUNDAY CELEBRATION JUNE 22
The Archdiocesan Rural Life Sunday Celebration is next Sunday, June 22, 2003.  It begins at 1:30 p.m. and includes the Eucharistic Liturgy of the Sunday with Bishop Pates presiding, a blessing of crops and land, and an essay and poster contest awards.  This year's family fun event is co-sponsored by the parishes of Holy Trinity (Waterville) and St. Andrew (Elysian) and is being held
HEALING MASS     There will be a healing Mass on Thursday, June 26, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 4024 Main Street, St. Bonifacius, MN  Fr. James Livingston will be the celebrant.  Father Livingston is the pastor of St. Boniface and St. Mary of Czestochowa    Catholic Churches.  The rosary will begin at 6:30 p.m.   Seating for the handicapped available.  Fellowship will   follow.  For more information, call St. Boniface (952) 446-1054 or Teresa at (763) 553-1343. 
LITTLE SISTERS SUMMER FESTIVAL   on Saturday and Sunday, June 21 and 22, the Little Sisters of the Poor will hold their annual Summer Festival.  This year the Little Sisters mark 120 years of serving the elderly of Minnesota.  The funds raised at Summer Festival go directly to support Holy Family Residence.  The Festival is held from Noon-6 pm and includes a spaghetti dinner, games, bake sale, garage sale and silent auction.  For more information, please call Cindy at (651)  227-0336.

OPEN DOORS - A social group for divorced, widowed, and single men and women -- meets the second Tuesday of each month.  Come to the meetings or just the events. 
The door is open -- you're always welcome!!

June 18, 25 - Walking and Jogging Groups will meet every Wednesday from 6:00-7:00 p.m. (weather permitting). Meet at the boat launch area at Long Lake Regional Park.  Call Barb at 763-784-6399 with any   questions.
June 15 - Extended RSVP for Saints game on August 9 at 7:05 p.m.  Payment for ticket ($4.00) needed in advance.  RSVP to Kathy at 763-712-0659 no later than 6/15. 
June 21 - Lawn Bowling at Brits Pub, in downtown Minneapolis. Game begins at 4:00 p.m. Meet there at 3:30, Car pool from St. John's at 2:45. Approximate cost per person: $5.00 plus food and beverage.  Will be cancelled if raining.  RSVP to Mary Kay at 612-782-3872 by June 19.
June 22 - Pool Party and BBQ -- 1:00 to 6:00 p.m.   Hamburgers and hotdogs will be provided.  Bring a dish to share, your own beverage, your swimsuit, and a game if you wish, to John Crudo's place at 1784 Sioux Blvd., New Brighton. RSVP by June 19 to John at 651-636-8197. 
June 25 - RSVP for Twins game on July 18 at 7:05 p.m.  RSVP and advance payment ($14) due by 6/25 to Paul at 763-717-6991.
