Respect Life

THE BABY BUSH IS COMING!  St. John's Respect Life Committee will be "planting" the Baby Bush in the St. Paul Plaza on August 2/3 and August 9/10.  Please pick up a  baby gift card listing a needed item for donation and then return the gifts the following weekend.  All baby items will be given to Northside Life Care Center and Birthright.  Please open your hearts to these newest children of God who need our prayers and generosity.

OPEN DOORS - A social group for divorced, widowed, and single men and women -- meets the second Tuesday of each month.  Come to the meetings or just the events.  The door is open -- you're always welcome!!

UPCOMING EVENTS:
Every Wednesday - Walking and Jogging Groups will meet from 6:00-7:00 p.m. (weather permitting). Meet at the boat launch area at Long Lake Regional Park.  Call Barb at 763-784-6399 with any questions.
July 24 - Restaurant of the Month -Group will meet at Olive Garden in Roseville at 6:45 PM, or carpool from St. John's parking lot at 6:15.  RSVP to MaryKay at 612-782-3872 by 7/21. 
July 26 - Game Night - 7:00 - 10:30 PM in St. Joseph's Hall.  Bring and appetizer/
snack to share, your own beverage (no hard liquor) and a game if you wish.  If interested in playing or watching a game of softball, come at 6:00 PM to the baseball field at the west end of St. John's parking lot.  No RSVP necessary. 
July 31 - Free Outdoor Music & Film.  Music provided by Latin Sounds at 7:30 p.m. and movie ("Stand & Deliver") at dusk. Held at El Rio Vista Park in West St. Paul.  See website www.districtdelsol.com for more info.  RSVP to Carol at 651-483-9074 by 7/30.

Saturday,  July 26th  6:00 Polka Mass featuring Polka Praise (on the lawn weather permitting)  Bring a lawn chair.
Free Street dance for the entire family 7:30-11:30.
Sunday, July 27th 11-8.  Continuous Entertainment featuring, Chuck Theil and the Jolly Ramblers, Bruce Bradley Band,  crafts, raffles, food and beverages.

CATHOLIC FAMILY CAMP  You are invited to attend Camp of the Holy Family, hosted by Dunrovin Retreat Center. This retreat grew out a desire to provide an experience that strengthens families in their Catholic faith.  August 10-15th, Ten miles north of Stillwater. 

Totals for the Fiscal year 2002-2003 will not be available until July 27th.
