Social Justice

JUSTFAITH   What is the responsibility of Catholics toward the poor and vulnerable? This fall, a program called JustFaith will be offered at St. John's. The program is designed to empower participants to become voices for the voiceless and agents of God's good news to the poor.

Just Faith is a process. From mid-September to mid-May, participants meet weekly for a wide variety of hands-on experiences in justice education. The emphasis is to enliven the remarkable justice tradition of the Church, and to share a journey of faith and compassion that is life-giving. Be ready for a demanding, challenging 30 weeks! Call the Parish Office for more information, (651) 633-8333; participation will be limited to the first 15 registrants.

"The difficult call to bring justice to a broken world deserves a preparation that honors the profundity of the task." (Jack Jezreel)
