NEW, LIMITED-EDITION PARISH HISTORY BOOK!
AVAILABLE ONLY AT FALLFEST
WHEN CONFRONTED with the task of producing a commemorative centennial book about the history of our parish, St. John's newly formed History Committee discovered that there was no major source of old pictures, records, and clippings.
In an effort to reconstruct our archives, the History Committee researched:
$The Archdiocesan Chancery Office
$ The Minnesota Historical Society
$ Past issues of the church bulletin
$ Copies of The Forerunner
$ Back issues of The Catholic Spirit
$ Members of our parish community
Some parishioners furnished historical information about parish organizations, shared memories of early life in New Brighton, and brought in old photographs. These combined efforts preserved the rich history of St. John's which has been captured in a newly published parish history book that will be available at Fallfest for only $15!
