MORE ON HEALING FROM FATHER JOSE:

Healing & Attitude

If you want to change your life, you must first learn to change your attitude. Did you know that in the past few hours you might have had a negative attitude that, if entertained, could have weaken your immune system and caused you to develop an unwanted health problem? It may even affect you mentally and emotionally and cause depression. But, did you also know that in the past few hours you may have had a positive attitude, that if entertained, could have strengthened your immune system and protected you from illness and disease and given you peace of mind and happiness?

ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4, there is early dismissal for students at 12:25 PM. Kindergarten AM class is in session, but there are NO CLASSES for PM Kindergarten!

ANYONE INTERESTED in helping with our Chess Club? We will have 3rd, 4th & 5th graders who are interested in staying in from recess to learn to play chess on Thursdays. But we need some "chess masters" - people who enjoy playing chess and assisting  parents with this noon-time, extra-curricular activity. Please call Marsella Swanson if you are interested at (651) 697-9164.

FATHER BILL is leading a tour to the Holy Land, March 19 - 28, 2006. Brochures are available in The Plaza kiosks. Bookings close January 2006; don't be left behind!

"'Tis the Season"

The season of giving is almost here again, and in keeping with that spirit, during the month of November, we will be collecting socks and underwear (men's and women's) for the homeless. We deliver them to Simpson House where they are shared with the Women's Shelter and St. Stephen's, too. Many homeless men and women are the recipients of your generosity. Last year we collected 3,800 pairs of socks and 1,700 pieces of underwear. And the need goes on! The "Blue" Containers will be at the church doors for you to drop in your items. What a great way to get into the spirit of the season!
