	ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6, and Wednesday, December 7, Santa's Secret Shop will be open in the Seniors' Lounge (a good place for children to buy their Christmas gifts!). Thank you to all who are helping with this event.

JUNIOR HIGH FAITH FORMATION on Wednesday, November 30, is the 7^th grade retreat, 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., in the Youth Room (no class for 8^th graders). The evening includes music, games, talks, small groups, prayer, and dinner! No charge.

	ST. JOHN'S WELCOMED three Catechumens and nine Candidates through the Rite of Acceptance earlier this month. These people began their Faith Journey in mid-September and are learning about the Catholic Faith. This journey will continue until their full communion in the Church on Holy Saturday Evening. As you are witnesses of their commitment, we ask that you take a moment to pray for them as they continue preparing for that special day of entrance into the Catholic Church. I ask that you hold the following Catechumens in your prayers: Scot Hultberg, Roger Sabot, and Blake Meyers. I ask the same for the following Candidates: Brandy Dutton, Marlene Steinke, Gabbe Loughlin, Brian Ogdahl, Lauren Hawks, Lisa Smith, Bob Smith, Rebecca Cooper, and Mark Skog. You will be seeing them again at the various rituals of RCIA in the months ahead. Welcome them to St. John's.
