O JESUS, I pray for Your faithful and
fervent priests; for Your unfaithful and tepid priests; for Your priests laboring at home or abroad in distant mission fields; for Your tempted priests; for Your lonely and desolate priests; for Your young priests; for Your dying priests; for the souls of Your priests in
Purgatory.
BUT ABOVE ALL, I recommend to You the priests dearest to me; the priest who
baptized me; the priest who absolved me from my sins; the priests at whose Masses I assisted and who gave me Your Body and Blood in Holy Communion; the priests to whom I am indebted in any other way.
O JESUS, keep them close to Your heart and bless them abundantly now in time and in eternity. Amen.

ST. JOHN'S HOSPITAL is asking for Eucharistic Ministers to bring Communion to all Catholics on a rotating Thursday basis. They will provide orientation for you.  We have a St. John's presence there currently and need some more help. If you are interested, call Anne Marie at  (651) 633-8333, ext. 1237. Thanks.

WE ARE STILL IN NEED of someone to help with the Word/Communion Service at St. Anthony Health Care Center on the first Monday of the month. The women who currently minister there are wonderful to work with and will walk with you as you begin. This ministry is so fulfilling and touching.  You will be glad you said "yes." Call Anne Marie if you can help, (651) 633-8333, ext. 1237.

A BIG THANK YOU to Margaret Nelson who has stepped forward to coordinate the food shelf. You are so  appreciated...

THIS IS A TIME OF YEAR when so many feel the losses in their lives in a bigger way. Let us be with one another and extend an extra word of care and love. We can all attest to what a difference one small gesture can make in our day. Even to the stranger in our midst... remember the old adage, "you may be entertaining angels unaware."

MEALS ON WHEELS DRIVERS NEEDED! St. John's delivers on Monday and Friday from the New Brighton Family Service Center.  Drivers needed for this winter. If interested, call Mary Justin at (651) 636-8599.

Stewardship Notes will return next week: Thank You!
