ALSO NEEDED:  We need two nursing home ministers for Trevilla for the 2^nd Thursday of the month. The service is at 7:15 p.m., and we need two people who are willing to lead the Word/Communion Service. You will be trained or can shadow someone if you wish. IN THE COMING MONTHS, we will invite all parishioners to become involved in a new ministry that is specifically engaged in the Social Mission of the Church.  Please pray for guidance for yourself and the parish as we look to this new work. Everything we do in regard to Social Mission has its roots in Catholic Social Teaching which many of us have either forgotten over the years or we don't remember learning at all. You will see them printed time and again around St. John's. We want them to become as familiar to you as the Ten Commandments; they are every bit as vital to our lives as Catholic Christians:

• Human rights and responsibilities
  
• The call to community
  
• The option for the poor
  
• The dignity of work and the rights of workers
  
• Solidarity
  
• Care for God's creation
