ONLY ONE BAG LEFT!

We called the Simpson Homeless Shelter last week and asked how the socks were holding out. Brian, a worker there, said of the 4,100 pairs of socks St. John's donated last year, they had only one bag left. Just in time, because we are now collecting socks and underwear again for the homeless. We need men's boxer shorts, t-shirts, thermal underwear, and women's bras and underwear. Jesus knew the experience of homelessness, He said, "Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the son of man has nowhere to lay his head"  (Matthew 8:20). Yet no one had more compassion for the poor. Well, good people of St. John's, here's our chance to show that compassion once again! Blue containers are at all the church doors. God Bless!
